NC State’s baseball team has been picked to finish somewhere near the ACC’s chewy nougat center this season by the league’s head coaches. The Wolfpack check in at No. 4 in the Atlantic Division, with Florida State the near-unanimous choice to win the division. (I’m not saying Wake’s coach definitely voted for his own team here but ... yeah he totally did.)
That other team from over yonder was picked to win the Coastal Division.
Also, all of the major preseason top-25 polls are out by now, and there is a wide range of opinion on the Pack this season: State is ranked as high as 13th in one poll and is unranked in others.
