#13 NC State (32-16/16-9) is heading into its final regular season series against Stanford (25-23/9-18) this week, sitting 0.5 games behind #2 FSU (36-11/16-8), who currently sits atop the ACC.
The Seminoles are hosting #4 UNC (37-11/16-10) this weekend, who is only one game out of first place.
First off, the Wolfpack has to handle their business against the Cardinals. You should never take your opponent lightly, but NC State should be the favorite in all three games. Stanford has lost eight of their last 12 ACC games.
Secondly, it almost makes me vomit in my mouth as I type this, but if NC State manages to sweep Stanford, then Wolfpack fans will be pulling for the Tar Heels to win at least one game down in Tallahassee.
