With less than a week away from NC State’s season opener against ECU, head coach Dave Doeren awarded 5 more walk-on players scholarships last night Jeopardy style.
All 5 of the players receiving scholarships last night played high school football in North Carolina.
Redshirt Junior Will Dabbs started at NC State as a Safety, switching to Running Back last year. Dabbs played one snap last year against East Carolina. He played for Morehead High School in Eden, North Carolina.
Redshirt Junior Tight End Thomas Ruocchio played 4 snaps as a Freshman against Furman, and saw action in 3 games last year at Tight End.
