NC State finished at No. 15 in the 2017-18 Directors’ Cup, easily the best finish in school history. The overall improvement of the athletics department under Debbie Yow has been obvious during her tenure, and that success continues on into 2019.
State is No. 10 in the final fall standings for the 2018-19 year after another strong semester. The Wolfpack earned points from men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer, and football. NC State does not compete in two of the sports that count toward the fall standings: women’s field hockey and men’s water polo.
