NC State is favored for third-straight week, though the margin is a wee bit slimmer this time around. The Wolfpack opened as a 3.5-point favorite over Boston College, but the line has moved to NCSU -4 and even -4.5 in some places. That’s a good sign.
Boston College comes in at 4-1 overall, and that egg the Eagles laid in Purdue aside, they’ve looked pretty darn good. They’ve had no problem piling up points this season, with an average of 43.2 per game.
The Eagles are getting more out of their passing game than in year’s past, but they’re still that run-heavy hit-you-in-the-mouth team that we’ve all come to know and grudgingly accept.
