The Miami Marlins drafted NC State outfielder Josh Hogue in the 15th round of the 2025 MLB Draft today.

After playing his freshman season in the junior college ranks at Santa Fe College, Hogue transferred to NC State prior to the 2024 season.

As a sophomore, Hogue was fantastic before suffering a season-ending injury against Ball State, finishing with a .314 batting average.

Hogue had a breakout campaign this year, leading the Pack in home runs (11, tied) and slugging percentage (.562). His .327 batting average ranked second on the team.

We will have to wait and see what Hogue decides to do, as he still has another year of college eligibility.
