It looks like the speculation from earlier in the day is going to come to fruition as Louisville appears to have reached an agreement with Appalachian State Head Coach Scott Satterfield to become the Cardinals next football coach.
After all the mess that has been Louisville football athletics over the past... (checks watch, looks at calendar)... while, including being unable to bring home favored son Jeff Brohm from Purdue, Louisville somehow managed to nail this hire.
Satterfield took over at his alma mater following the *ahem* retirement of Jerry Moore, the coach that led Appalachian State to multiple FCS national championships and led the transition of the program up from the FCS level to FBS play.
