Weather or not Keyon Lesane leads NC State in any receiving categories in 2023 will not determine his level of worth to the Wolfpack’s passing attack. Lesane is the clear leader of NC State’s Wide Receiver Room.
Lesane is coming off of his best collegiate season, catching 31 passes (2nd on the team) for 342 yards and 2 touchdowns. Behind Thayer Thomas, Lesane was tied with Darryl Jones for the 2nd most targets on the team.
Thomas is gone. Jones is gone. Devin Carter is gone. The Wide Receiver room is full of talent with a lot of upside, but there are a lot of targets up for grab, and Lesane is looking to capitalize on the opportunity.
