JUCO shortstop Sherman Johnson (6’2”/185) flipped his commitment from Arkansas to NC State today!
Johnson began his collegiate career at Dallas Baptist University in 2023–24 but was limited to just two games and received a medical redshirt.
This past year, Johnson transferred to McLennan Community College, where he helped lead his team to the JUCO World Series. On the season, he hit .319 with 9 home runs, 64 runs, 51 RBIs, 21 doubles, 35 walks, and 21 stolen bases.
Back on October 22, Johnson committed to play baseball for Arkansas in 2026, but he decommitted last week.
