NC State Men’s Basketball only has one commitment in their 2019 recruiting class, but it’s a big one. Jalen Lecque is a 5-star prospect, ranked as the #22 overall player in the 2019 recruiting class by ESPN. According to Rivals, Lecque is expected to sign his letter of intent to play basketball at NC State at 1pm today at Brewster Academy.
Lecque spoke with ESPN at the beginning of the month about the possibility of going straight to the NBA after the conclusion of his prep year at Brewster. If he was projected as a 1st round pick, he told them “then you never know.
