Welp, I have heard from 2 reliable sources that NC State Freshman Ian Steere (6’9″/261) is transferring.
Is it official yet?
No, the school hasn’t released any info.
That being said, I heard Steere has submitted an official request to transfer, and he just up and left yesterday after lunch.
At this point, it is my understanding the coaching staff is just as confused as you are reading this right now. No reason was given for his decision.
Steere was a 4-star prospect that saw 5 minutes of action in his first career college basketball game on Tuesday night against Mount Saint Mary’s, and had 4 points (2-2 FG), 4 rebounds and 1 assist.
