Ian Steere, a 4-star forward from Northwood Temple in Fayetteville, and a N.C. State commitment, was injured during the second half of the Hoops & Dreams Showcase Saturday.
Steere, who committed to coach Kevin Keatts and the Wolfpack last month, was walking with a noticeable limp in the first half. Already playing with a wrap on his left wrist, Steere took a hard fall in the third quarter and was down under the basket for several minutes. After being helped to the Northwood bench, Steere never returned to the game. Moments after taking a seat behind the bench, Steere was seen with a bag of ice over his left knee, clearly upset, covering up his face with his jersey.
