The real live actual dedicated-channel ACC Network is just around the corner now, and the league’s schools have each made plans to build out expensive studio space to support the network and its programming. The extra infrastructure is necessary to broadcast the on-campus events that will air live on the network.
NC State’s studio, which you can read about in detail right here, will be carved out of unused space in the Murphy Center. It comes with a price tag of over $6 million—but it’ll be a good way to showcase the various programs on campus, and no doubt will serve in creating recruiting material as well.
