The News & Observer obtained a copy of Dave Doeren’s latest contract extension with NC State and has the details here. Doeren is getting a modest annual raise of $250,000 and there are of course a variety of financial bonuses he can trigger by hitting different milestones.
A 10-win season in which NC State reaches the ACC title game and plays in a New Year’s Six game, for instance, would be worth an extra $350,000 in bonus money for Doeren. He’ll get $50,000 for an eight-win year, and he gets $25,000 for any non-CFP/NY6 bowl game appearance.
