Georgetown transfer forward Isaac Copeland will be in Raleigh Wednesday for NC State’s game against Virginia Tech, per CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein. Copeland announced in December that he was leaving the Georgetown program.
Gottfried was one of many head coaches who recruited the former top-50 prospect out of high school, and Copeland has a list of nine schools he is considering as transfer destinations, including the Wolfpack.
Although technically a junior, Copeland is applying for a medical redshirt that would grant him an extra year of eligibility, meaning he would have two years to play at his next school.
