Dana White’s 2025 Contender Series is set to start on August 12th, and run through October 14th. Former NC State All-American wrestler Thomas Gantt, who has been serving as an assistant coach with the Wolfpack Wrestling Team since 2023, has signed on to be a contestant this season. The date of his match is still TBA.
Gantt was an ACC Champion and All-American in 2016, and earned All-ACC honors in 2014 and 2016. His 91 collegiate wins ranks 14th in NC State history.
Currently, Gantt boasts a 10-0 Pro MMA record, and was 5-0 as an amateur.
