Last night former NC State point guard Dennis Smith Jr sprained his ankle in the Mavericks 108-94 preseason victory over the Hawks. Smith started off the game strong, picking up 9 points and 3 assists in 13 minutes of play.

But shortly into the game, Dennis had to leave the game with a sprained article.

Dennis didn’t return, but he wasn’t scheduled to play in the second half anyway.
