Senior forward Darrion Williams was itching to break out of his scoring slump, and he did just that this evening in NC State’s 79–71 ACC road win over Boston College.
The preseason ACC Player of the Year had failed to score 10 or more points in each of the past three games, and in five of the last six overall, but rebounded in a big way with a 22-point performance. Williams knocked down 4-of-7 shots from beyond the arc and scored 20-plus points for the third time this season, and for the first time since November 17 against VCU.
