NC State’s Defensive Line is stacked, but I think Redshirt Junior C.J. Clark will exceed expectations more than Davin Vann and Savion Jackson.
Clark is moving back to Nose Tackle, which is more of a natural position for him. People forget that he entered the 2021 season as the starter at Nose before suffering a season ending injury after Week 3 in practice. Cory Durden stepped in, and ended up earning 1st Team All-ACC honors. As a result, in order to keep a good thing going, the Wolfpack coaching staff kept Durden at Nose Tackle in 2022, and moved Clark out to Defensive End.
