Former NC State pitcher Carlos Rodon picked up a much needed win last night against the 1st place Cleveland Indians, after picking up a loss in each of his last three starts. Rodon pitched 6.2 innings (marking the furthest he’s gone in a game this season), giving up 1 earned run, and striking out 9.

Over his first two seasons, Rodon has shown that he has electric stuff, but he has struggled with consistency.
