After taking a line drive off the forehead in his last outing, former NC State All-American pitcher Carlos Rodon didn’t miss a beat last night in his 3rd rehab start.
In his 2nd rehab start with the Charlotte Knights (AAA), Rodon pitched 5 scoreless innings, striking out 8, and surrendering only 3 hits (86 pitches/58 strikes).
Through 3 rehab starts, Rodon has pitched 12.2 innings, given up one run and 7 hits, and struck out 20 batters.
It is unclear at this point if the White Sox will go ahead and call up Rodon, or have him pitch one more rehab start in the minors.
