Boston College (4-1, 1-0) comes to Raleigh as a team that has already been on a bit of a roller coaster this year. Two early blowout wins against lower-level competition coupled with an impressive road victory at Wake Forest had Steve Addazio’s dudes ranked in the Top 25, but a subsequent egg laid at Purdue and a struggle of a win versus Temple has withered a bit of the bloom for the Eagles.
Make no mistake, this Boston College squad will be a tough out, especially with their pounding running game; however, their offense has racked up a few key injuries, including All-Everything RB AJ Dillon, as well as key contributors WR/HB Jeff Smith (10 car, 103 yards; 13 rec, 220 yards, 3 TDs) and WR Kobay White (10 rec, 193 yards, 3 TDs).
