#24 NC State is coming out of their Bye week, which is always a time to re-examine what is working, and what isn’t working. Here’s a look at the Wolfpack’s passing attack through 7 games in 2022.
60.1% of the Wolfpack’s passing attempts have been less than 10 yards down the field. There’s no denying that the passing completion percentage has been much higher in passing attempts 10 yards or less, as well is should be, but the failure to throw down the field has limited NC State’s explosive plays in the passing game, and has made the Wolfpack’s offensive scheme way too predictable.
