CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Playing four seasons at North Carolina State has paid off for Bradley Chubb.
The Wolfpack's senior defensive end won the Bronko Nagurski Award, given to the nation's top defensive player, on Monday night. The award was presented at the Charlotte Convention Center.
The 6-foot-4, 275-pound Chubb leads the FBS in tackles for loss with 23½ this season. He has 25 sacks during his career, including 10 in 2017. He has 72 total tackles in all along with nine quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles, two passes broken up and a blocked kick.
