People were beginning to give Denver grief for taking former NC State All-American Defensive End Bradley Chubb with the 5th overall pick in the this summer’s draft after the 1st 5 games.
Chubb has made them eat their words and swallow their doubts the past four weeks, collecting 6.5 sacks over that span.
He has 8 sacks on the season, which is the tied for the 4th most in NFL history by a rookie through 9 games. It marks the most sacks by a rookie through 9 games since his buddy Von Miller had 8 as well in 2011.
