NC State Defensive End Bradley Chubb has become a national sensation. He was a AP Preseason All-American team, and was recently named to the AP Midseason All-American team. Chubb was also projected this week to be the #5 future NFL star in College Football right now.
But that wasn’t always the case.
When NC State head coach Dave Doeren recruited Chubb, he was only a 3-star recruit out of Hillgrove High School in Powder Springs, Georgia. In fact, he was the #82 player in the state of Georgia.
Sometimes you recruit the 5-star recruit that pans out.
