Boston College starting quarterback Anthony Brown out for season with leg injury

Boston College head coach Steve Addazio announced Monday that quarterback Anthony Brown is done for the rest of the 2019 season after suffering an injury in the Eagles’ loss to Louisville on Oct. 5.

Addazio would specify only that it was a leg injury, but it looked like an ACL, unfortunately. It was a non-contact injury that happened when Brown planted his left foot to make a cut during a draw play. It sucks that freak injuries like this one have to be a fact of life in football.
