Alabama’s pitching stifled the bats of #12 NC State today in the Jax College Baseball Classic, shutting out the Wolfpack 4-0.
The Wolfpack has now lost three straight games after sweeping Fordham in the season-opening series last weekend.
After averaging 12.5 runs through the first four games, the Wolfpack has been held to a combined total of three runs in their first two games down in Florida this weekend.
The Crimson Tide limited NC State to just three hits today. Given the scarcity of hits, kudos go to the three players who managed to get on base: First Baseman Chris McHugh, Catcher Drew Lanphere, and Center Fielder Ty Head.
