After Monday meetings, ACC still planning on a fall football season

There are quickly-evolving events evolving quickly within a quickly evolving situation in college football today. None of the power conferences have made anything about the fall official yet, but per a report from Dennis Dodd, the ACC is at least for now forging ahead with football after ADs and school presidents discussed the matter in separate meetings today.

Reports on Sunday indicated that the Big Ten was heading toward a cancellation of fall sports, and Pac-12 officials will meet Tuesday, when they are expected to cancel their own fall competition. There’s hardly universal agreement within those two leagues, and Nebraska head coach Scott Frost in particular was outspoken about playing this fall.
