College basketball coaches have had an unusual amount of time on their hands in 2020, what with the season being cut short and recruiting travel being shut down, and sometimes, you can really really tell.
Last month, for example, the ACC’s men’s basketball coaches launched a public effort to support the inclusion of every single D-I team in the 2021 NCAA tournament. That, uh, didn’t work out.
This week, the ACC’s coaches got together and agreed that the wearing of suits shall be canceled.
Wake Forest coach Steve Forbes said in a program update call that ACC coaches have voted to wear Polo shirts this season instead of suits.
