Great teams win ugly games.

The #8 NC State Women’s Basketball team survived a slugfest last night in Reynolds Coliseum, hanging on to beat Clemson 54-51 in overtime.

The 6-0 start in conference play is the best start since the 1997-98 season.

The Wolfpack managed to squeak out a victory while turning the ball over 21 times, and shooting 38.3% from the field, 13.6% from three, and 41.2% from the free throw line.

Four NC State players finished in double figures. Redshirt Graduate Junior Kiara Leslie led the team with 13 points, and Senior DD Rogers finished with a double-double, scoring 11 points and grabbing 15 rebounds.
