North Carolina State picked up a commitment Thursday from small forward Saddiq Bey, one of the fastest-rising players in the 2018 recruiting class.
Brian Snow of Scout.com confirmed the coveted wing's choice of the Wolfpack.
Bey is a 4-star prospect who checks in as the No. 83 overall recruit in the 2018 class, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He's also graded as the No. 19 small forward among the group and the second-best player at the position from Washington, D.C.
Although it took awhile for the Sidwell Friends School standout to start receiving national attention, he's shown he belongs in the same conversation as the class' top players.
