Cloer released his Top-5 schools on September 23rd, which included NC State, UCONN, Alabama, UNC and Florida. He was scheduled to take an Official Visit to UNC this weekend, but he cancelled it. Cloer previously took Official Visits to NC State (1st visit), UCONN, Florida and Alabama.
Prior to transferring to IMG Academy for his senior season, Cole Cloer played for Caldwell Academy in Greensboro, and before that, he played just down the road at Orange County High School.
