4-Star 2025 Defensive End Trajen Odom (6’5″/270) confirmed with me that he is on an unofficial visit to NC State today.
A recruiting Dead Period (no in-person communication between coaches and recruits) ended yesterday, beginning a Quiet Period, where coaches can interact with recruits on the college campus (but nowhere else).
It’s noteworthy that on the first day Odom was allowed to be on a college campus interacting with coaches, Odom chose to be at NC State.
Odom plays right in the Wolfpack’s backyard, playing for Panther Creek High School, in Cary, North Carolina. ON3 and ESPN both rate him as a 4-star prospect.
