NC State capped off their loaded final weekend of the regular season with a victory over #7 Virginia Tech (9-4, 4-1). The Pack finish the season with a 13-1 record overall, and a perfect 5-0 mark in the ACC. The win secured the ACC Dual title for Popolizio & Co., though it was technically claimed on Friday night since VT forfeited the originally-scheduled dual last month.
This dual was a contest of momentum, which I think the Hokies were hoping for. Coach Robie won the coin toss and chose to start the dual at 165.
