247Sports ranks Crabtree as the #42 player in the state of North Carolina in the 2020 recruiting class. Crabtree plays for Heritage High School in Wake Forest, where Wolfpack Running Back Ricky Person and Defensive End Joseph Boletepeli played.
Crabtree also held offers from Navy, Army, Air Force and Liberty.
NC State offered the local standout on October 9th.
Crabtree is the 3rd Wide Receiver commitment in the Wolfpack’s 2020 recruiting class, joining 4-Star Porter Rooks and 3-Star Stephen Gosnell. Overall, he’s the 17th verbal commitment in the class.
