3-Star 2026 Safety D’Various Surratt (6’0″/185) verbally committed to NC State this evening.
Surratt took an Official Visit to Raleigh on June 6th, and also took Official Visits to UNC, Duke and Virginia Tech.
The Wolfpack offered him on January 20th.
This past Fall, Surratt had 43 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 4 interceptions and 4 pass breakups for Crest High School (Shelby, NC).
247Sports ranks him as the #26 overall player in the state of North Carolina in the 2026 recruiting class. According to ON3, Surratt instantly became the highest rated player in the NC State’s 2026 recruiting class.
