NC State picked up a verbal commitment from 2026 3-star Linebacker Zykir Moore (6’2″/215) this evening.
Moore chose to run with the Wolfpack over a Top-5 that included Toledo, UCONN, Boston College and Syracuse.
247Sports ranks him as the #42 overall player in the state of Pennsylvania in 2026.
Moore took an Official Visit to Raleigh back on the weekend of June 6th.
This past season Moore missed significant time due to injury, but he had a tremendous Sophomore season for Woodland Hills High School (Pittsburgh, PA), tallying 99 tackles and 15 tackles for loss, as well as 13 touchdowns on offense.
