Rivals ranks Walker as the #44 overall player in the 2019 class, and ESPN ranks him as the #7 player in the state of Florida (Orlando Christian Prep/Orlando, FL). He is the #10 power forward in the 2019 recruiting class according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He is now down to NC State, Arizona, Florida, LSU, Texas, Ole Miss, Alabama, Arkansas, Memphis, Oregon, Georgia and Miami.
