Washington Capitals re-sign three players to two-way contracts

The Washington Capitals re-signed forwards Garrett Pilon and Michael Sgarbossa along with defenseman Bobby Nardella on Thursday, all to two-year, $1.5 million contracts.

For Pilon and Nardella, the first year of the deal will be a two-way contract ($750,000 NHL and $110,000 AHL) and the second year will be a one-way $750,000 contract.

Under his contract, Sgarbossa will earn $750,000 NHL and $425,000 AHL in 2021-22, with the AHL salary rising to $500,000 in 2022-23.
