The internet has become an integral part of our lives, and its importance cannot be overstated. In Bangladesh, the growth of internet usage has been remarkable over the past few years. According to a report by the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), the number of internet users in the country has increased by more than 10 million in just one year, from December 2019 to December 2020.
This growth can be attributed to several factors, including the increasing availability of affordable smartphones and data plans, the expansion of 4G networks, and the government’s efforts to promote digitalization. The COVID-19 pandemic has also played a role in accelerating the adoption of digital technologies, as people have had to rely on the internet for work, education, and entertainment.
