St. Louis Blues to honor Chris Pronger by retiring his No. 44 in January

The St. Louis Blues have announced a new date for retiring Hall of Fame defenseman Chris Pronger’s number.

The ceremony to raise the former captain’s No. 44 to the Enterprise Center rafters will take place on Jan. 17, 2022, during a game against the Nashville Predators.

The Blues had planned to honor Pronger last season, but the event was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
