Police Officer now charged in Wayne Gretzky stolen memorabilia case

A third person has now been charged with fraud involving the sale of a Wayne Gretzky hockey stick. This time it is an Ontario Police officer. Wayne’s father, Walter was the victim, as the items were taken from his home.

Ontario Police Officer charged in Gretzky case

According to the latest report, the officer is being charged with “Fraud over $5000” and “Breach of Trust.”

Police say a three-month probe into the theft uncovered an alleged fraud involving a Gretzky hockey stick. A spokeswoman for the Ontario Provincial Police says Insp. June Dobson is facing fraud charges in the case.
