Pat Maroon believes Lightning can three-peat despite losing players and denting the Cup

Tampa Bay Lightning forward Pat Maroon believes the team can win it all again next season. That would be a three-peat for his team but would make him the first player to win 4 Stanley Cups in a row since a member of the Islanders did it back in 1983.

“I truly think we can run it back again,” Maroon told The Athletic. “It depends on our health, how guys are feeling, our attitude. But we’ve been texting together as a group and thinking, we’ve brought our top two lines back, our big four on ‘D,’ the best goalie in the world.
