The Carolina Hurricanes are looking like the favorites to win the Central Division this season. That’s due in large part to the work Rod Brind’Amour has done behind the bench. Of course, his contract concludes this season but it sure sounds like he’s coming back.

Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon was recently on with Bob McCown and made it pretty clear what he intends to do with his head coach this offseason.
“I’ve never been concerned,” Dundon said Tuesday on The Bob McCown Podcast. “I’ve never really had a problem keeping good people, if I want to keep them, we keep them, we’ll find a way and he’s the best.
