Multiple players rose, while others fell during day one. There were a lot of surprises like Moritz Seider taken at #6 by the Detroit Red Wings. Which paved the way for quite a few top prospects to fall.
Arthur Kaliyev was ranked by 16th here at Puck77 in our most recent draft rankings. He spent this past season with the OHL’s Hamilton Bulldogs. He has an excellent shot as he recorded 51 goals. The biggest issue is that, Kaliyev, has been described as one dimensional.
His offensive upside is great, but there are issues in his game.
