The Winnipeg Jets announced that Bryan Little will be out indefinitely after suffering an undisclosed lower-body injury in Thursday's home opener against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Little left after colliding with Hurricanes' Bryan Brickell in the first period. Little skated off the ice under his own power but did not return.
"We'll have a better idea of just how long in a couple weeks," Head Coach Paul Maurice said.
Little is coming off a fractured vertabrae injury suffered in February against Tampa Bay that prematurely ended his 2015-16 season.
