Calgary Flames defenseman TJ Brodie collapsed and appeared to have a seizure on the ice during the team's practice on Thursday, according to Jermain Franklin of TSN:
Jermain FranklinIt looked like the #Flames D-man, TJ Brodie had a seizure of some sort on the ice. Practice was halted immediately. The ambulance and fire department have arrived on the scene and stretched a conscious and, what looked like, an alert Brodie out of the Saddledome.
According to the team, he has been hospitalized and is "alert and responsive" following the episode:
