Drummondville Voltigeurs: Offence Setting the Pace Towards the Postseason

It is difficult to not notice this powerhouse, but as they sit second in the league, it is old hat for one of the longest-standing clubs in the ‘Q’. While Drummondville knows they would probably have to play the Huskies in order to win the President’s Cup, the Voltigeurs could see a ride deep into the playoffs.

The only more offencively dominant team in this millennium than Drummondville this year was the Memorial Cup-winning Halifax Mooseheads in 2012-13. That team scored 347 goals in the regular season. This year’s Voltigeurs have scored 320 goals, leading Rouyn-Noranda by a 20-goal margin.
