One would assume after not playing a game for three months, it would understandably take him some time to get back to an NHL level of play. It would appear that Michael Grabner would like you to hold his drink. He immediately played like his old self against the flames, generating five shots on goal.
While he didn’t score, he did generate opportunities and play well. He would take that momentum into the next game against the Los Angeles Kings a couple of nights later. Grabner would take less shots, however it is a fair trade off for a two goal effort on his only two shots.
